These identifiers are automatically generated in the course of submitting advertisements and can be viewed using the List Ads section. Each section of the site that requires their use will have easy to read instructions on which identifier to use for a particular operation e.g. modifying a single ad or renewing a multi-ad subscription.
The invoice ID is a number that is used to uniquely identify a payment receipt; it is used when making web-based payments for advertisements. It is not required for normal advertisement operations e.g. renewing, modifying or cancelling advertisements. An invoice ID is automatically generated with each (new or renewal) advertisement subscription submission.
The subscription ID is an alphanumeric (a mixture of numbers and letters) identifier which is created with each new advertisement subscription, which consists of either a single advertisement (in the case of a single ad subscription) or multiple advertisements (in the case of a "bulk discounted" multi-ad subscription). The initial new advertisement subscription and all its subsequent renewals will have the same subscription ID (in the same fashion that both a new magazine subscription and all its renewals might have the same subscription ID). The subscription ID is typically used when renewing a single or multi-ad subscription.
The advertisement ID is a number automatically generated with each advertisement created within either a single or multi-ad subscription. It is used when modifying or cancelling an individual advertisement belonging to a particular subscription.
As examples of the above, a single ad subscription could have an invoice ID of 22341, a subscription ID of WX223, and its single ad an advertisement ID of 231, or a multi-ad subscription could have an invoice ID of 3112, a subscription ID of RE112, and three advertisements with IDs of 23, 27, and 31.
When required for operations (e.g. subscription payment or renewal, or individual advertisement modification or cancellation), these identifiers for a particular subscription or advertisement can always be found by using the "Advertisements -> List Ads" section of the website.
