As a new web-based medical advertising service, Medvert is pleased to offer lowered promotional ad rates. In particular, one month single advertisements (new ad submission and an unlimited number of one month renewals) may be displayed free of charge.
The rates ($Can.) listed below apply to both new advertisement subscriptions and their renewals.

You do not have to send in your payment before submitting your advertisement to medvert.com. Simply submit your (new or renewal) ad using the advertisement creation form and make sure that your payment arrives at Medvert by no later than the payment-due date to ensure display of your advertisement.
The payment-due date is currently 20 business days after the submission date of a new advertisement; for an ad renewal, the due date is 20 business days after the expiry / cancellation date of the displayed version.
The exact payment-due date and the ad ID number will be displayed in your web browser immediately after successful submission of your advertisement to the medvert.com server.
You will not be sent a bill after you submit your advertisement to medvert.com. A receipt will be e-mailed to you after your payment has been received.
If you submit a no-charge advertisement (new or renewal), please contact Medvert and supply the ad ID number of your submitted ad; your free ad will be marked as "paid" and made available for public viewing.
Payment Methods
Payment for advertisements may be made using credit cards, personal cheques, money orders or bank drafts (with the payee being "Medvert"). If a personal cheque is rejected as "NSF" (i.e. not sufficient funds), the corresponding advertisement will be removed from the server. The mailing address for payments is located below.
Credit card payments (using Visa® or Mastercard®) for advertisements may also be made by using the Subscription Payment section; internet-based payments are processed by Worldline® Inc. on behalf of Medvert.
Payments must be denominated in Canadian dollars only; this will be done automatically when payment is made using a credit card.
New advertisements paid for by credit card are normally available for immediate public viewing as soon as the payment transaction has been successfully processed ie. as soon as the payment confirmation message is received in the customer's web browser after successful submission of their credit card information; ad renewals paid for by credit card will be automatically made available for public viewing when the currently displayed version expires or is manually removed by the submitter.
Advertisements paid for by personal cheque or money order are typically available for public viewing within three business days of the date of payment receipt by Medvert; if a delay occurs because the main web server is offline (eg. repairs, upgrades etc.) when payment is received, the expiration date will be adjusted forward to ensure display of the ad for its full subscription period.
Payment Mailing Address
Canadian customers can send payments to the above address using regular mail, Xpresspost, or Priority Courier.
American customers can use regular mail, Global Priority Mail, or Global Express Mail.
Refund Policy
Advertisement payments are non-refundable with the following exceptions:
- Payments received after the removal of an unpaid advertisement (e.g. on its expiry date) will be refunded to the sender.
- Duplicate payments received for the same advertisement subscription (e.g. two payments made for the same unpaid subscription by two individuals in an organization) will be refunded to the sender.
Paid advertisement subscriptions which are cancelled by the submitter before the nominal expiry date of the advertisement (i.e. before the end of a three, six or twelve month paid subscription period) are not eligible for any pro-rated refund based on what would have been the remainder of the original subscription period.
Advertisements removed by Medvert because they are deemed by Medvert to have violated the Terms and Conditions of use (e.g. defamatory, obscene, or other inappropriate content) are not eligible for any refund.
